Maybe these are the new Reliance scans. Scanning the '97 negative is the obvious first step in creating a (long overdo) new master for the OT (OUT, SE, '04 or otherwise).

Unless they’re planning a wider, home media release of the '97 (which I doubt), if these are 4k DCPs, maybe its release in the '97 format—the current state of the negatives—is a sign from Lucasfilm to let us know “hey, we hear you, and we’re working in something.”
