There should be no blood at lightsabre wound. When the lightsabre cuts the flesh, the wound should be cauterised. In that respect, ESB and ROTJ are correct and ANH is wrong.
They don’t show cauterized wounds in ESB and ROTJ though. That is something that was first introduced with the prequels.
