If I had the money/the technology was there, I’d have my entire skeleton reinforced with titanium.
He frequently forgoes honesty for his humour. That’s fine, but not from a “Critic”. I don’t dislike him; I just don’t find him funny.
The Person in Question
He’s playing a character, like the Angry Video Game Nerd. Maybe the character isn’t to everyone’s taste, but generally valid points are made through the medium.
It’s like the RLM reviews of the PT. I can’t stand most of the “Plinkett Interludes” in the videos. I don’t enjoy seeing what amounts to a short film comprised of blurry footage of pizza rolls and women chained in a basement full of discarded Star Wars toys, but damned if the review portions of the videos themselves aren’t spot on. It’s mostly the same with other characters like the AVGN (and I assume Nostalgia Critic, but I missed out on him over the years).
Edit: Apologies if this comes off sounding like I’m saying you have to like the character because it’s a character, because that’s stupid. I’m just bitchy tonight and it’s very late.

I enjoy the guy’s videos when he isn’t in character. The character just seems to amount to screaming and shooting a fake gun. I don’t hate him; I just see no humor in him.

I feel like without the healing factor, you’d not take that so well.
Now if it was titanium alloy armour, I’d be in.

There’s another, better Random Thoughts thread that means I don’t have to look at Hansi’s face…

Assuming you survived the procedure and returned to the state you were in before you’d tear every muscle in your body trying to move around. Why on Earth would you, of all people, want to inflict such an excruciating death on yourself?
Your body’s tough enough as it is Duracell, it just needs training up. See the Rocky franchise for instructions.

I thought I was more of an implement, an ancient and versatile agricultural hand tool used to shape the soil, control weeds, clear soil, and harvest root crops that sort of thing but dirty and unpleasant.

The sudden nostalgia for minor annoyances and major trolls around here baffles me no end.
Where were you in '77?
It’s called “trolling,” at least in this case.
