heh, funny.
yeah i'd also like to post more, i don't want to be just a stupid padawan (since i don't 'accept' the PT).

to go back to the topic: i think i found some plot holes (maybe they've been mentionned already but i'm too tired to care now...):
in ANH, when C3PO and R2D2 escape in the pods why don't they destroy them? even if there are no lifeforms they could have done it only to make sure. better to fire needlessly than to be exposed to the wrath of the vader in case it was important.

and also, in ESB, the empire saw that the millenium falcon was heading for bespin because they put a tracker on it. but when leia, lando and chewie escape they don't remove it (as far as I know) so the empire should have found them again after a while.

am going to watch ESB and ROTJ back to back with a fellow SW fan on wednesday, maybe i'll find out more then...

no, they put the tracker on the MF in ANH, in ESB it was boba fett who followed the MF and handed the location of the Mf to the empire.

I asked the same question in another thread some time ago, I belive the answer to that was: incompetence and stupidity. By the Empire, not GL's!
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

hehe... well, the empire cant be perfect, or they wouldnt be able to lose.

My big question about that scene in ESB is if the MF was the fastest ship in the galaxy, how did the Imperial troops arrive right before the MF ?(LANDO: "I had no choice. They arrived right before you did. I'm sorry.")

So it took them what, 1000 years to get to that planet not using the hyperspace?

no ricarleite... it was just close, maybe a days or something like that. whereas the empire used hyperspace and did in a matter of hours maybe.

You know what? You're right!

The Hyperdrive on the MF wasn't working, so they COULDN'T have used hyperdrive. Good call motti_soL. When I was thinking about it, I was thinking when you see them speed off, it meant they went into hyperspace. But, that would be impossible otherwise they would have used it to escape the Star Destroyer earlier instead of flying into an astroid field. I completely forgot that...wow...

I take back my earlier grievance.

And now I post a new one...

In the new espisodes (I and II), you see the Jedi twirl their lightsabers all the time. A prime example of this is at time 1:54:10 in AOTC (I just watched it). However, if you think about the physics of a lightsaber, this is impossible (It's actually explained in a Star Wars encyclopedia). It's simple physics really. A LIGHTsaber's blade is made of light. Light has no mass, and therefore has no weight. Therefore, it's impossible to do that really cool looking twirl thing with a lightsaber because the only part of it with any mass is the handle. Go figure that one out...

Yep, we're gonna see who's first to 10K and we're both awful damn close.

I used to be able to turn my toy Lightsaber when I had it.......

My fucking lightsaber. Can you believe that shit. And I didn't find out for sure untill a year later. I thought I'd lost it, serched the same fucking place all the time, hoping to find it. Fucking bitches Bumped into her a few months back, made a joke of it. Thought I was getting in there....I wasn't!!

Talking about girls and whipping it out and having it stolen and whatnot reminds me of King Missile's "Detachable Penis".
