I saw Part 1 in the theaters when it was released. I loved dinosaurs (still do, but its more of a hobby than a career, as I thought it might be back then).

After that, it became a sing-a-long franchise. I suppose that as long as some crummy composer/lyrist can make songs appropriate for a dinosaur, they'll be making more movies.
