He is the walking personification of hubris (i’m going to miss stupid EU Sith Lord names like Darth Ubris btw). Jedi is the least of the OT film but as silly as what the Emperor says is Ian McDiamid does it with such style that it’s easier forgiven. Just like Ben being a crap mentor but played by Alec Guinness.
