<prediction tongue="in-cheek">
If TS3 does get released, Generation Y will create its own set of forums called OriginalToyStory.com (That's OTS.com for short) and complain about how Disney raped their childhood. Jimb0 will likely join that board and clutter it up in defense of Eisner's creative decisions for the past decade. DanielB, who has never edited a spec of video, will come on and complain about how the second issue of "bloopers" and the digital remastering for the Toy Story 2 DVD are heresy because they destroyed the entire vibe of its theatrical release. Then he'll tell everybody how they can restore it and improve upon it. Then he'll dump all over Toy Story 3, and though they'll agree with his analysis, he'll already be hated by the entire community and be told to F' Off.

Generation Y doesn't care enough. Besides, most of Toy Story's fans are in my generation (Late Eighties) since we were the Kids who enjoyed Toy Story in the 90s. But nice tounge-in-cheeck-ism.

QuoteEisner should be shot in various non-vital parts of the body for every 'straight-to-VHS' sequel Disney has done:

Oh yeah. Mulan II. Another disaster. Casting Eddie Murphy as the dragon was bad enough, but to do it twice?
Mulan II
Beauty and the Beast II
Aladdin II
Aladdin III
Cinderella II
An American Tail II (were these Disney? I don't care, let's blame him for them anyways.)
An American Tail III (were these Disney? I don't care, let's blame him for them anyways.)
Land Before Time II through whatever (were these Disney? I don't care, let's blame him for them anyways.)

After that, it became a sing-a-long franchise. I suppose that as long as some crummy composer/lyrist can make songs appropriate for a dinosaur, they'll be making more movies.

rofl
seriously though...i was watching lion king 2 the other night (dont ask, its a bad habit that if i watch one movie i have to then watch the rest of the series (providing i have it, and i bought the 'trilogy' for the lion king because i heard the second was funny) before i can watch any other movies
but i decided that disney definatly has an A team and B team that they have work on movies. All the good ones are done by the A team and the shitty, DTV ones are done by the B team. Seriously, the plot in lion king two is weak at best, i mean i understand no disney movies really have crazy plot twists or anything, but this was just bad (Chaltab if you though some lines in star wars were cliche...well, dont watch this

Those wer from Don Bluth, if I'm not mistaken. The genius behind the Dragon's Lair laserdisc arcade.... I loved that game...
Land Before Time, I think they did about... four hundred of those...

Perhaps instead of shotting random non-vital body parts...we could administer, The Pain.

One would want it to bomb if he or she runs a studio who released a movie at the same time.

I disagree with the way the film is being handled (casting Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, making the film a semi-sequel to the first two movies that starred the late Christopher Reeve, etc.) and feel that they don't deserve to have it be successful. I don't hate Superman, I hate the way they're doing this new movie. But maybe I'll be wrong, maybe that Brandon Routh guy will rise to the occasion, who knows...
