MUST each Star Wars Ep. have to have...? — Page 3

I used to think each Star Wars had to have the Fox fanfare. But I found its absence from TFA less jolting than I thought I would.

No, actually this “tradition” was broken almost immediately, with Empire closing on the camera pulling back from the Rebel fleet. And while we’re at it, that movie is also the only one to have any significant dialogue in its final scene (Phantom Menace had the Gungan king shout “Peace!” but that’s it). So really, TFA’s ending is still a lot more “standard Star Wars” than Empire’s ending was.

Wow, I just re-watched the ending to ESB and I’m almost ashamed to admit I thought It ended with our heroes looking out the window! 😕 I can see how TFA is a lot more normal that I originally thought!
I still hopeing 8 and 9 have some horizontal movement though, that’s the one element that really sets the TFA ending apart…

Yeah, it was interesting how many people said it would ruin the franchise and then how little I cared not hearing it in the theater.

MAN the Star Wars logo goes slow in this one. Is that the proper speed for the Special Editions? It’s WAY faster in the original.
