Yeah, but if I recall correctly they weren’t fighting in space, shooting lasers, jumping 200 yards across a map, and deploying enemy seeking robots. I could be wrong on that, but if it had all that it was minimal.

I don’t care that they make it, they can make whatever they want, it’s just not something I’m into with my gaming preferences. I’ve always really loved their foundation, which was historical warfare in the FPS.

My sentiments exactly.
Found a neat review of the BF1 trailer by WWI experts. It surprisingly or unsurprisingly gets a thumbs up for pretty good accuracy so far, with reasonable concessions made for game play or simply theatrics.

Ditto. They haven’t put a game I’ve had an interest in since MW (though I did go back and play MW2 and 3 and enjoyed them later). Once they went to exoskeletons and future stuff, I stopped caring entirely. I’ll play Halo or Star Wars something or other if I want space guns.
I was pretty happy to see that Battlefield was WWI over 2143.

Call of Duty in space would be the equivalent of Halo trying to do a prequel set in the 1980s. I agree wholeheartedly about Battlefield. I was worried they were going to go future, but they proved me wrong.

So, I’ve tried the multiplayer now, I am having a “hell” of a time. I’m not sure where the complaints come from. The demons could use a bit of balancing, but the game is still awesometastic.
