Thanks for the hard work Chris. I’ll have to watch the video when at home. So far as I’ve ever been able to tell the few minute differences come from the fact that the home video version on the 1991 WS LD would have had to have been remixed at some point to include the rescoring. It was a common practice at the time but thankfully not like Warners awful stereoizing of mono tracks. When done though it will change the levels of some of the dme stems or be adjusted by someone not from the original production. Thus I think the extra clarity is not really correct and that the restored 1995 audio and DVD port are correct.
And it’s nice to know that the BD is off too-that takes a lot of detecting work but it doesn’t surprise me that they couldn’t even get that right.
BTW the new 7.1 is a completely new mix from scratch where the new effects are less obtrusive but still unnecessary. He big example of it being new is how they were able to properly spread the score across the channels as opposed to the 5.1 and I also think they had access to the master materials too.

Now that I have the signature CAV set I need to compare all of them.
