Turned out to be more than I planned, haha. But it’s hard to emphasize just how much work these projects can be, and how easily you could start out on a massive project to find out it was never worth the trouble.

Edit: It’s a valid way of thinking, though. We’re just not there yet. Once we have amazing scans available of all three films, with amazing cleanup and an amazingly color-corrected BD, this would indeed be a project most of us could tackle with some editing software and a source to synchronize it to.
