Well, I think that’s it for the old laptop I’ve been using for the past couple years.

At around 8:00 tonight, the goddamn thing crashed while I was out of the room. When I went to reboot it, the stupid computer froze, so I restarted it again. For two hours I spent restarting the computer over-and-over again, used System Restore twice see if that would fix things, but nothing worked; it just kept freezing minutes after logging back in.

I’ll try logging in on that laptop again tomorrow, but there’s a 70% chance it’s finally kaput. I didn’t have any real important files on it or anything, so I’m not mortified at the loss, just mildly pissed off that I spent all that time rebooting it for nothing. I’ve got a secondary laptop, anyway, that’s newer and has been used less, so it’s not like I’m going to be deprived of Internet access for any great length of time.
