well but suppose you are talking about reading Psalm 23 at someone’s funeral or Luke 2 at Christmas or some other passage at a wedding or other special occasion. Poetic might be good there, right?
Yeah, it would probably be appropriate then. I think we Catholics use the Jerusalem Bible for all readings in Canada, though, regardless of the occasion.
