They’re all exactly the same.
Wrong. Metallica is nothing like Slayer, Megadeth is nothing like Kreator, Sepultura has hardly anything in common with Kreator, Destruction is nothing like Sodom etc.

Anyway, what they all have in common is that I can’t hear any of the lyrics when they “sing.” They might as well be using dog whistles, if dog whistles created annoying growls and grunts. And spare me the old man jokes, I’ve thought this since before you were born.
FWIW, I rather enjoy many heavy metal interpretations of video game songs. Armcannon is my favorite of these such bands.
All I can say is that this sounds nothing like this
and yes Metallica is Thrash. They actually invented it.
