George Lucas named as director. C3PO and Cliegg fall into a droid factory and have their legs swapped. R2D2, no longer recognizing his friend, gets lonely and loses the will to live. R2D2 digitally replaced in SE #4 with a droideka who had a moral crisis and defected from the Neimoidian army during the battle of Naboo.
It clearly should be a remake of The Hand.
