Das Imperium schlägt zurück - Despecialized Edition 2.1 (German) (Released) — Page 2

Congratulations to the release! 😃

Will v2.1 be the final German version, or are you going to upgrade it to 2.5 once it’s out?

Author
Time

Yes, I’ll definitely update it to 2.5, and ideally I’ll have some more updates to the German aspects of it, if everything works out as planned.

@ Laserschwert

Nochmals vielen Dank an euch!

Was mich da noch interessiert…

I just noticed when checking the different audio channels that the English 16mm sound is very noisy and/or clipping compared to the other audio tracks (especially noticeable with “s” and “th” in dialogues). Is this normal or did my track get messed up when remuxing for Blu-Ray?

This is normal and inherent of the source: 16mm optical audio is very crappy.

What’s the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.

Hi Laserschwert,

i have noticed that you have updated the cover packages. Where can i find the chapter inlay you have added in the OP?

Thank you!

Oops, I must have forgotten to add them to the archives. The cover downloads of all three films are now including the chapter insert.

I don’t know how others think about that but I’d prefer if the subtitles in your future releases were in sub format instead of srt. That way they would render more nicely, look the same on every device and match better to alien subtitles in SW and RotJ.

I know, but they only have full subtitles for German (no “native”) so I would have double opening crawl and alien subtitles.

Catbus has decided that the next version of Threepio will include native subs in German and other languages 😃
