FUCKING IDOITS why is it that the dumbasses are always the ones that get the power.

i seriously cannot beleive bob goodnow, can he not take a hint

"Mr.Bettmann we all thought that you would settle at 45 million why didnt that happen and if the players came to you in the next couple of hours and offer 45 mill would you accept?"

" that is a good question, IF the players were to OFFER 45 million we would HAVE to look at our books first. IF they were to do this in the next 24 hours and we could get back on schedual then the season could theoritcally be saved"

now mr goodnow i believe in that statment from the NHL press conference this morning Mr. bettmen all but said we would accept 45 million. now you jackass go and offer it and we could paly some hockey. but no you cant go down another 4 million that would be horrible. the seas would fuckin boil and the world would come to an end. instead the proper course of action, the one that you took was to say that everything is off the table, to act like a 3 year old and give the impression that "oh bettman said that since the season is canceled they owners now needed linkage, so if he is going to do that ill get him back, all the players offers are off the table including the 24% roll back and everything, cus i am a lil baby and i want the last 5 fuckin months to have been a wast of time"

now to maddogg, you cant take offside out of the game it would be stupid if they did, how ever i agree with you there need to be fewer wistles, no i think to achieve this 2 rules need to be changed or one feature needs to be changed. first the rules, if the NHL were to take out the 2 line pass rule, which i think is rediculous longer passes could be made and you would see more break-aways and two on ones, the trap would also desolve because the neutral zone would seem bigger. also less trap = better hockey(80s hockey). the second rule would be to widen the blue lines, as it is now and offside is if the players foot is past the line if it is still on it its far game. widening the blue line would make all the zones bigger thereby killing the trap and making it easier to be onside. the second of these rules is already being tried out in the AHL. the last thing you could do is to make the rinks bigger make them international size. one of the reasons there are more stops in play is because of the clutching and grabing that is involve in the trap style of hockey. since players are bigger now then they were in the 80s this style has become more apparent in the play. increasing the rink size would spread out the play mroe and if players wanted to continue tp play this method they woudl risk creating wide open ice with would creat more flow and fast paced action.
