I remember being a part of that conversation, so for the record, I didn’t complain about the two seats, but rather that I thought the turret addition was kind of dumb; though, removing the turret would also eliminate the necessity of the second seat 😄. (Not as to say you were thinking of me, but I just thought I’d mention the other half of the argument)
That’s fine. It was Smoking Lizard who made the astute observation of the travesty that is TIE Fighters with 2 seats. Also you never pop in my mind when I’m thinking of people who make inane complaints about TFA 😃
Besides, these are new Tie Fighters. So for them to have certain design changes made by the First Order is kind of to be expected, I would think.
