@Williarob: I hope for the next release you cut back a bit on the Negative1 advertising. V1.0 seemed to have an excessively long ‘bumper’. It’s not that you shouldn’t be proud of your work and announce it before the film…it’s just that imo it seemed a bit too long timewise. Maybe 30 secs instead of 40. Maybe I just can read fast…lol

It’s not that you shouldn’t be proud of your work and announce it before the film…it’s just that imo it seemed a bit too long timewise. Maybe 30 secs instead of 40. Maybe I just can read fast…lol
If it is supposed to be GOUT synced like he sais, there shouldn’t be a (front) bumper at all.

I was referring to the projector video and then the Negative1 “welcome and enjoy” title card. I prolly shouldn’t have called it a bumper. My days in fm radio betray me.

The front bumper is gone for v1.5. It’s just black, fox, long time ago…

Forgive me if I overlooked this, but what are the changes/upgrades for this version?
Oh, I noticed a 16mm SWOT print that just went up on eBay. Pretty pricey. Are the 16mm prints scoped? I just dont ever remember going to a theatre as a kid that projected in 16mm.

Lol yah. I was able to read through the title card about 4 times. But yah, this project update on the colors sounds awesome!

Forgive me if I overlooked this, but what are the changes/upgrades for this version?
Fully GOUT Sync’d with all of the missing frames restored, additional cleanup, improved color correction, some problem scenes replaced with alternate 35mm footage, higher bitrate / better encode / no framerate issues, 35mm Spanish Audio, New capture of the Mono Mix from Jaxxon’s 16mm print, 1977 English Stereo Mix from Japanese Laserdisc (all PCM), no annoying/loud/long intro, Fully authored Custom Blu-ray (BD50 - you’re welcome) with Seamless Branching, menus, correct Chapter stops, and subtitle options…
Basically everything we all hoped v1.0 would be. Still not the Holy Grail we are all seeking, but it will hopefully be at least a small step up in quality from the original release.
Some people will still hate it, others will prefer the original release, but some (myself included) think it is better than 1.0…
