Unfortunately, I really don’t know if I can. I get $900 a month on disability, but I don’t know if that’s enough to pay for food, rent, and bills. Around these parts, everything seems to cost too damn much (but then again, maybe it only seems that way due to my family situation).

Oh, I’m working on that. I actually don’t mind kids, but they will move out at age 18 unless they have a compelling reason to stay. It is a family tradition. My mother moved out at 17; her children moved out at 18.

My own situation resembles this on bad days. Not so much the overspending as half no2 is very hard working and frugal. But the erosion of the self when stuck in a space with a verbally incontinent person shouting the same old nonsense swears and repeated slurred sentences, well it’s just no fun at all. It makes me wish I had a lever that revealed a sound proof calm room where the rules of binge drinking no longer held sway. A reverse speak easy. A shut up easy.
