Michael does not say ‘shit’ in the 20th anniversary cut. However on the 2002 DVD of the theatrical cut and the 2012 BD he does say ‘shit’. The 2012 DNA line is also from the 2002 Anniversary cut yet the 2002 DVD of the original cut has the original line. Some of the other instances you noted where it sounds the same in both may not apply to some VHS/LD releases of the theatrical cut.
