Seems like an unwise feature to give us.

This feature will never exist. Don’t post on a public forum if you don’t want your words preserved for eternity (or the death of the internet, whichever comes first).
Side note: any posts a member decides to wipe clean on their way out can be restored quite easily, so don’t bother.
