What about the people who liked that film prior to Gareth Edwards being confirmed as director of Rogue One? Also, I’m guessing that most Star Wars fans dislike Robocop 2 even though it is directed by Irvin Kershner.
I really like Robocop 2, the only thing letting it down is it’s Robocop 2. Most of things it does had already been done in the first film only sometimes with less flare.
The scene where the previous Robocop 2s are shown to the board of OCP is genuinely funnier than anything in the first film and the scenes with Murphy’s wife are better than the same sort of thing in the first movie. But it’s redundant because something like that had already been done.
