Oh yeah? The first “upgrade” happened on my vacation. I was lucky the hotel wi fi was blazingly fast, but it still took a couple hours to download that bloated sucker. Then it tells me I don’t have enough memory to install the upgrade, forcing me to find someplace that sells micro SD cards. That kind of crap never happens with my older Win 7 machine.

If the HD on my old netbook had not gone south, I wouldn’t have gone near a replacement with 10 on it. I’ve been using PC’s since DOS shells were a thing, and this is the most unpleasant experience I’ve had with an OS. I sure as heck don’t need all that touchscreen crap cluttering my desktop. I was lucky I found a “hack” that permanently shut off the touchscreen gestures on the touchpad, which reset itself with every restart.

I’ve heard more than enough complaints from friends and colleagues about their existing programs not playing nice with 10 as well.

And no company should force or trojan horse their product on people who don’t want it.
