Wow, thanks for posting that. There’s some really neat stuff in there! I love the landing TIE concept. I’m also really fond of the two man x-wing design.

For some reason I can’t seem to copy the pics using my iPad so I can’t include them in my post, which is a bummer…

But I think the image of Kylo exiting his shuttle has a very 2001-ish vibe going on that is really nice. And the shot of the castle near the volcanoes with the TIE interceptors looks heavily inspired by the old OT concepts for Darth Vader’s castle which is also very neat. Over all some really great looking pieces! And they really make me feel that sense of awe and wonder that sends my imagination into overdrive just like the great art from the OT (and also the SW renaissance of the mid 90’s) used to do when I was a kid. I haven’t experienced that in a long time. Very cool.

The Hux one actually did confuse me for a moment. That’s not a good likeness.

That Vader in flames art seems to be a ripoff of this piece by Dave Dorman.

What a beautiful rendering of Leia. Wonder why she’s crying though… maybe she just realized she forgot Chewie’s medal?

^ I’m hoping that this is how they really first met. Though maybe when she’s a bit older seeing as how the timeline for Ben’s training isn’t exactly whole yet.

The other week, I was looking for some decent super-hi-res artwork of Rey wielding a Saber (Desktop size) but came up with nothing. Due to that particular plot element being wisely kept under wraps for a long time I guess. There is loads of Rey art with her staff, but Luke’s saber, not so much.

Well, there is this painting:

Not quite high-res, I know.

Oh, and while I’m here:

Orange lightsaber, where were you in the final film?

Now that’s ^ what I’m talking about! Great likeness for Daisy too. Shame it’s no higher than 1600x1036 but still great. Thanks.
