What the hell happened to this site? Is it just the influx of TFA trolls? General influx of members since TFA, resulting in a higher than average troll count?
Immediately after the film’s release, we had a number of new Stormfront-esque members complaining about black people, so I’m guessing it’s the former.
I also thing this semi wave of Prequel apologists have something to do with this as well.

Ahem I thought it was a nice touch to get the same actress back for Mon Mothma as Episode III. That was my first takeaway from the trailer, hoping that they hadn’t thrown a third one into the mix.
The aesthetic of classic '77 era Star Wars and lack of Jedi and lightsabers excites me. The movie doesn’t even have to be all that great for me to really enjoy something like this. It’s not part of the ‘saga,’ and I feel it will be freer to explore without fearing it will disappoint us.
Should be a ton of fun.

The first of these standalone ‘spin-off’ movies had kinda fallen off my radar until yesterday, but the new trailer proved quite interesting in many ways.
The effects and action certainly look good so far, and hopefully I’ll warm to all these new cast members eventually. By the way, I was keen to see who was re-cast as Alex McCrindle’s ‘General Dodonna’ in this, but I don’t see anyone listed for the role over on IMDB.com…which is a pity, as you can’t have too many beards in ‘Star Wars’!
But this ‘heist’ scenario is looking promising as a ‘prequel’ of sorts to the OT, and looks like it could end up having a somewhat ‘gritty’ vibe judging by this footage. I just wonder how Alexandre Desplat’s score is going to end up sounding throughout, as it’s going to feel somewhat strange not to have John Williams scoring the whole thing this time around - however, it seems he’s listed as the composer of the ‘theme’ music, so things will probably kick off in the usual way with an info. scroll I presume. It would be nice if the new composer does a good job with this.

Isn’t Felicity Jones’ character supposed to be Han Solo’s ex girlfried? He was a gentler man back then, but their break up caused him to build the tough guy exterior and selfish personality we saw in Episode 4…

To mount the primary weapon, the essencial component, as last part of the whole station is rubbish. It is only to look cool.
It’s just the dish. There appeared to be a lot of stuff already installed under it. Maybe they had to replace it or something? The first dish could have fried during a test fire. There had to be a few bugs, considering who actually designed the DS.
