My issue isn’t with the actual editing but the idea of preserving the twist. Since almost everyone knows it and it’s not that big of a twist removing an entire conservation with Snoke, and Kylo saying Grandfather is too much to sacrifice for preserving a twist.
Especially considering the twist was known by everyone as soon as Adam Driver was announced to be playing Kylo Ren.
