Idea: The Force Awakens - Digital only files?

So there are several digital-only featurettes via Target and DMA. Would that be permissible to archive?

I sure hope so. Since there is no Target here in Canada anymore, it would be the only way in which we could see them.

It would be cool. I have no way to watch them here in Italy.

Myspleen will definitely delete the torrent. I would just hang on to the files for now. I’m sure at some point in the future they will be acceptable.

That’s what I figured. I posted it in their forum to find out if it was acceptable but never got a response

I saw the exclusive deleted scene on YouTube the other day, so check there. I’m not sure what the rest of the content is, I think another making-featurette?

Two featurettes and the BB8 freebie

The fact that the bonus content is digital only is a complete joke.
Not to mention the borderline disgraceful deleted scenes included; what happened to that dozen or so that would be included, J.J.?
It’s alright though, we got half of each scene, most of which were trivial, with a time-stamp plastered across the top… Awesome.

They deleted someone’s upload of TFA interviews, panels, etc from youtube and similar sources. So something from an official blu-ray is probably way too much for them at this point in time.

Yah. I went on a spree of finding every possible full featurette, documentaries, deleted scenes etc etc (pretty much all bonus features possible) for both the original trilogy and prequel trilogy. It’s astounding how much bonus content and docs are publicly released by Lucasfilm on YouTube. Maybe a “force awakens bonus features” thread would be nice. Compiling all radio/tv/event interviews, featurettes, documentaries etc.

I have about 200 gigs

It will all probably be available in a Blu Ray set in 5 years.

I have the US Blu-ray and it has burned alien subtitles (there in English and French - didn’t check Spanish but I assume it is the same). Anyone know of a regional version without burned in subtitles?

Also, I think the time code on the deleted scenes can be patched. I just wonder if there is a point to some because they aren’t complete and don’t fit. About half of them might. Plus I noticed a big gaff withe the Starkiller weapon as the rebels approach… there is no beam being sucked in. Oops.

The weapon charges in a different area. we only see the actual weapon section when they arrive

There isn’t much in the film to tell them apart, but you are right. The feed port must be on the opposite side. Just one more thing about the film that is unclear. I know Abrams like mysteries, but he left too many things unexplained that the film needed.
