I think one word will sum up the PT quite handedly, contrived! Everything was forced instead of developed. Dont get me wrong, my inner-child did his best to enjoy and conjure up the emotions I felt from the OT, but the adult in me saw exactly everything spoken here about it.

The one thing I dislike about the PT? The OT was a galaxy filled mostly with humanoid creatures and a handful of aliens. The PT is a galaxy filled with aliens and a few humanoid creatures. Its like diversity was forced upon us whether or not it added to, or took away from the story. Its almost like they were “token” just to fulfill a wish GL had way back when he created the OT. Dont get me wrong, some scenes worked, but most were, as I stated above, contrived.
