I have no idea as to importance of these Pixar shorts to cinema history, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve preservation. Just because I don’t like something or find it important doesn’t mean it isn’t worthy of preservation. There may be more important films to preserve than Star Wars, but not many. I do not think preserving the anatomy in question in this one Pixar short is more important than Star Wars, but that ~~does~~ doesn’t mean that those that wish to preserve it are wrong for wanting to. I myself have never seen this short and probably will never see it.
