I just think the massive boobs shouldn’t have been animated in the first place, but it was the right decision and a well justified change

It wasn’t originally conceived as a kid’s short. It played at film fests and computer animation festivals. (Back in the days when CGI was considered ugly and “soulless” by the old guard.) They didn’t perform the boobectomy until they paired it up with Finding Nemo in 2003.
I just think it’s hilarious John Lasseter suddenly frets over kids seeing it uncut, when it was released twice on video that way.
