Well if you’re releasing it to the public why wouldn’t you want people to enjoy it? But then again he hasn’t said whether this was for the public or if he’s making a personal fan edit like I am.

Jeez, yeah, people are overreacting way too much to some of my changes.
Some of the changes are pretty jarring and others seem to be done for no apparent reason. We’re not saying you should off yourself but you couldn’t have been expecting praise for some of these ideas.
When I say cut down certain scenes, I mean literally cut out only like two or three seconds of the scene. Nothing major.
Well taking out something like Kylo Ren’s violent fits hurts his characterization seeing as how he’s getting a full blown character arc in this trilogy.

You don’t have to apologize (with the exception of the street slang thing) but I’m just trying to help you see why a lot of these changes would irritate a lot of people and would turn them off to your edit.
