Definitely. I’ve gotten so annoyed with the aforementioned hipsters. They’ve always been there, but now with TFA, they feel compelled to rally behind the PT and whine about how we “triggered” Lucas.

Stuff like that makes me so angry! No one was complaining about her appearance, just a few losers on the internet. This is just pathetic people attacking her because they are jealous of her good looks. Ironically they are all incredibly sexist for saying she is not a real woman because of her looks.

This just in: Daisy Ridley confirmed to not be a real woman, is instead a shape-shifting martian from the future and therefore is a fake woman.

If that were true I’d be even more attracted to her…as if that’s possible.

Lord have mercy.

Apparently there are at least the ones who bashed Daisy Ridley.

…we triggered him into giving up Star Wars? I always thought the Disneys paid him to take it off his hands… now I’m really confused!

Ol’ George has the GOUT, I see.

Oliver Cromwell is one of the best historical anti-villains ever. Why can’t SW films experiment with such morally gray characters?

I find it amusing that Ric Olie was game piece #1 in the contest that KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut had going for Phantom Menace. I probably have a bunch of these stashed away someplace.

I think all I ever won was some Cinnamon Twists, and a free Pepsi or two. The Pioneer home theater system with a Laserdisc player would have been sweet! I wonder if anyone actually won that hovercraft?

Where were you in '77?

All I needed was that dang battle droid and I’d have won the million. =(

…“Battle Jawas” is the selling point, what in the actual?!?

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

Snoke is a Jawa who blames Luke for the slaughter of his kin in ANH. It all makes sense now! 😛

Some dude posted a ton of spam threads, so I bumped a heap of other threads to get his off the front page, but then they were all deleted, presumably by a mod.

Ok, Im going to completely and totally change the subject. I did enjoy catching up on this thread and wont even try and jump in with some trite comment. Something has bothered me for, oh, about 25, 30 yrs now and I figured yall might have the answer for me. Years ago I remember seeing Empire on TV a few times. One thing that stood out was a specific scene that just seemed, well, mixed differently. Its the scene where theyre in the Faclon cockpit and Han is trying to go to light speed. In response to his lack of hyperdrive engines, Leai exclaims, “No light speed?” I always remember her voice in that scene as being very loud, out of place, kind of bassy. Almost like it was over dubbed. Any one recall this? Just wondering why that particular scene (of what I can remember) was so different than other recordings Id seen.

There are documented sound mix differences for Empire, so anything is possible. Watching a movie on tv isn’t the best way to judge the sound though.

Yeh, I know. But that one scene always stood out. It’s etched in my brain. Her voice was big and in your face. No where else have I ever heard it like that. When you’re a kid, you notice any continuity errors after seeing something you love over and over. Kind of like the chasm scenes in the Death Star with the exhos differing.

I want to know why Luke has a golden lightsaber on the Shadows of the Empire novel cover.

“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
