(in hindsight, my own ideal version would have been the usual ‘The Phantom Menace’ scroll…ship approaches and requests to land…but once landed, we cut to pilot saying “Captain, look!”…as ship and occupants are then blown up! End of story, heh.)

The very first edit I made, a good five or six years ago, was exactly this.
