I've successfully gone from drinking three-to-four cans/glasses of soda a day (Mostly diet, BTW.) down to three a week.
I have perfected my latest (and only) cookie recipe...now I simply have to un-perfect it again so as to limit consumption of same...
I was once…but now I’m not… Further: zyzzogeton

I now have a girlfriend, and she doesn't inflate.
Sounds like you need to return her.
The rest of you may not view this as good news, but as of today, I have a driver’s license.
If I lived in Canada, I’d move to America.
Hey, I hardly ever cause accidents now!
congrads, RicOlie_2!
Just remember to be careful behind the wheel.
I’m twenty-eight, and I still haven’t learned to drive.

Yes,try to keep the turnouts and peelouts to a somewhat small minimum, and don’t drift unless you
really need to.
Or unless you are in Tokyo.
Unlike many guys my age, I promise to only partly forget how to drive now that I have my license. 😉
Don’t half ass it. If something’s worth doing it’s worth doing right.
I’ve been searching for a personal OT.com catchphrase to use for sometime now, and I’ve finally found the perfect one:
“Can’t we all just get a footlong?”
I’ve used it sparingly before, but I never thought to make it my catchphrase. Well, it is officially mine now.
It’s really good.
The Myspleen thread’s finally been locked. Thank the Lord for small miracles.
Screw new jobs or babies, that might be the best news in this thread.
If I lived in Canada, I’d move to America.
You wouldn’t need to move at all.

Especially since the former’s a subset of the latter (in spirit if not in letter).

Just got a raise to $13 an hour, and will get .90 a year from now on for a job that, other than a lot of walking, requires almost no physical labor. Not too bad considering I only went to high school. The catch is that I it’s stressful as balls and somebody is always waiting on me and people are mad, yelling and cussing at me daily. I’ve been doing this for some time but they changed my pay grade recently.

Where I grew up everyone started driving at age fourteen. Technically only legally when going to school but that did not stop anyone from driving where ever they wanted, whenever they wanted.
