I may well recognize that they may make technically superior films to the OT, and frankly you could already make a case for TFA,
As it pertains to STAR WARS and especially Return of The Jedi. Sure, but ESB is nearly flawless.

For me? No. No matter how good future Star Wars films are, they’ll all share the fatal flaw of not making an impression on me as a child. The originals will always have that magical nostalgia value that it’s literally impossible to overcome.
