I was thinking more on the lines of Coruscant, the hotbed of Imperial supporters("there were people who loved the Empire? Hard to tell from this version"), partying. The EU had basically established it as a place you didn't go unless you loved the Empire. Hence why Coruscant was renamed Imperial Center. I could see such a thing in the Alien sector, but not the Square. What was really ridiculous was the lone stormtrooper being heived into the air. A lone stormtrooper! How often have we seen a single Stormie running around? Even if they had killed whomever was with him, you mean to tell me there aren't other platoons around? Imperial Center had it's own private fleet of six Star Destroyers that were there even during Endor. If things got that out of hand, all it'd take is a single call. Before you knew it, whole squads of Stormtroopers would be firing into the crowd(which happened in the EU). If all hell breaks loose, I could imagine the orbiting Destroyers firing on the troublesome areas. Rioting on Imperial Center was virtually non-existant from what I've read. But I really hated it because it gives the impression that everyone hated the Empire. Especially given how the PT makes the Galactic Republic look less than desirable to it's citizens, it just doesn't add up.
