I really like the majority of the shots!

But yes, I do sometimes see that effect. What you should do is have your project set to 1280x540 or whatever, and then render at 1280x720 to add the bars. However, often times those bars changing colors should be an indicator that your black levels might be a bit off. I noticed that in a few of your earlier samples (the Mos Eisley matte painting for example) but haven’t looked at your new ones closely yet!

It’s interesting that you seem to have taken the Tusken/Ben scene closer to Harmy’s 2.5. Is that because you used his as a basis (I used the 97SE as I think it had better color dynamics) or did you essentially revert it using mine as the base?

I like the color scheme you’re going for with the force choke scene, and the other scenes in that room. The blacks might be crushed, but I’m not comparing it to another version right now so I’m not entirely sure.
