LCDs are nifty and thin, but they're still not as good as CRTs for PQ.

Actually, mine didn't have the Bluetooth keyboard/mouse. Mine was with the USB model. But I did get the airport card simply for wireless networking since there is no PC slot in it for a card.

iTunes is a great program that I have never had a problem with. Loads fast and has more available songs than any other pay-per-download site out there. Plus the exclusive tracks are great. Many artists record tracks specifically for iTunes. I know that a few have done this for Napster as well. But getting an exclusive U2 track is better than an exclusive Macy Gray track, IMHO.

Dushku, the U2 iPod is not all that. I can't say I'm a big fan.

I buy Macs because the video and graphics processing, off the shelf, is far better than a PC. When you buy a PC, you have to upgrade the hell out of it to bring it to a processing level equivalent to a Mac. Macs are prepped with all that stuff in advance. Plus the service on Macs is far better. I've always had all my questions about Macs answered in a very timely fashion unlike the PC support services I've encountered.

And, before anyone says, you can't compare a Mac to an off-the-shelf PC because those types of PCs are crap (which is what some people on this forum have argued in the past), that's just the case here. Why shouldn't you be able to make the comparison? That's one of the keys... Mac makes it easy for people. PCs are complicated as hell to update and repair and find compatible peripherals and make work properly unless you really know what you're doing. And 98% of PC owners don't know what they're doing. So it's not easy. And they get frustrated. I know more than my fair share of people who hate their PCs because of the lack of simplicity inherent in ownership of one. Then they start working on a Mac and love it.

There's your reason right there.

But, if you know what you're doing and you like to work on computers, then a PC is definitely the way to go. God bless ya. If you enjoy, then do it. Knock yourself out. I don't. I want to hook up my computer and go to town. I want it to be preloaded with all the hardware and plug ins that I need so I can just use it. I can do some work on PCs, but I don't want to have to. Screw that. It's not my bag.
