Sorry for this incredibly stupid question, but does anybody have an idea where can I get the good old mkvmerge gui?

What happened is that I have after a long, long time upgraded my mkvtoolnix because I got sick of the “a new version is available” messages. Boy, what a mistake. The new 8.9.0 version has removed the wonderful mkvmergegui and replaced it with a horrible piece of shit called MKVToolNixGui. I can’t use that shit.
After 3 days of practicing it’s still not usable. Things which I could do with mmg under a minute now take 10 or more minutes. I really hate software like this. Does anybody know if there’s a chance how to get ONLY the mkv merge gui program? It’s only a frontend for mkvmerge, so at least in theory I should be able to use the new mkvtoolnix with the old mkvmergegui.

And yes, I tried googling, but google is as useless as most of the time.

Or if it’s not possible, how can I SAFELY downgrade to a version which still has it? Thanks
