I went to a relative’s house tonight for a family get-together because my cousin was in town. My cousin works at Disney, on the software for Disney Movies Anywhere.
I was talking to him about Star Wars, and he told me about how, a week before TFA came out, people in his office there at Disney dragged a bunch of chairs and couches from various conference rooms into one large room and watched all 6 Star Wars movies on a projector.
And when they watched the Original Trilogy, they watched Harmy’s Despecialized Editions. In an office at Disney.
No joke.
That is amazing. Now that people are out from under the thumb of Uncle George maybe they’re realizing that the non-SE versions of the OT are the only ones worth watching.
