Like some other members here, I wasn’t aware of the full situation about Poita (especially recently). Peter, I wish you the best of luck with both your family and professional life. It’s such a shame all of this mess happened to you all at once. Like many here, I wish I could do something that might help you out at all, especially for everything you did here (and elsewhere). You’ll be greatly missed, but your familly is much more important than a hobby.

Indeed. Let’s hope that the scans will still be avalaible and also your precious knoledge & help (if you still can provide it).

I have a couple of technical posts to finish off in the tech forums, and then it will be radio silence. Once any of the projects are complete, you will hear about them I am sure.

Does this includes the one made on how to buils a film scanner (http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/How-to-build-a-film-scanner-need-advise-and-help-please/id/45977) ? I do hope so.

I too am beyond sorry to be reading this and wish you and your loved ones all the best in the real world.

If you manage to achieve some stability again, by all means continue to post if you’d like. I’m sure we’d all love to hear from you from time to time.

Thanks for everything and for being such an invaluable resource for all of us.

Thanks again guys, I am out of here come March 1st, have a few things I want to upload and threads to finish off before I go.
I’ll be back when life settles down, really need to find a proper income right now, and as mentioned will be working via good old 20th Century emails with many people here, so plenty will continue happening behind the scenes.
