To further expand on this, the reason the thread is confusing is that you’re describing the very goals of many people here. You will find that most people here are morally okay with digitally distributing old versions of Star Wars so long as they are no longer being sold in that format. Based on your other posts today, I think you might differ on that opinion. If it is only original official releases you want in hard format, you want the Memorabilia Discussion and Buying/Selling/Trading section of the forum.
