But where did you think Leia sent Ben if you didn’t think he trained with Luke?

College, trade school, Military Acadamy, take your pick. I know Im wrong, but I just interpreted it differently after seeing it a few times. The movie never straight up says that Luke trained him. It just alludes to it.

It’s 10,000 Jedi actually.

Still, that’s an absurdly low number. My own home town – which is rather modest-sized, I might add – has more people in it.

All Jedi?
How many cops do you suppose there are on the not as densely populated planet of Earth? It seems like a really low number of people to police even one planet.

Been close to two months since I looked at it, but I think the novelization had a few lines about Snoke influencing Ben from afar. I don’t remember exactly where it was and I don’t feel like looking it up just now, but I definitely got the impression that Snoke was a voice in Ben’s head at some point.

I distinctly remember someone was working on a ROTJ vector arcade game a while ago. I wonder what happened to it?

Ol’ George has the GOUT, I see.

Daisy Ridley’s so cute, I want to kiss her on the forehead. For her and her alone, I’ll eventually watch TFA.

When public safety and pop culture cross paths. Saw this the day before TFA released. It was on the overhead signs throughout the state.

My friend says that CGI Yoda and Jabba are far superior to the puppets from the OT. He also hates Chewbacca. I honestly don’t know why I even hang out with him at this point.

Not enough people read the EU.

It’s not wise to hate a Wookiee…

Hmm, seems the dept of safety in my town must have a SW fan in charge of the overhead message signs. This was yesterday!

While I think there are better reasons to watch TFA her British accent alone is worth it. She also looks like a girl you can take home to Mom.

Must be a nation wide theme. Goes to show you the cultural impact this movie has made on our society.

Your friend is a product of his/her generation. More accustomed to CGI than the real thing, albeit a bit muppetish at times. Kind of supports a point I tried to make in another thread that deepnding on what generation you grew up in, it can have an affect on how you interpret or view a movie/book.

Your mom would not approve of that outfit.

I’m pretty sure she would be okay with whatever she’s wearing in this photo.

I thought that was a photo of Natalie Portman pre TPM for second there!

You have to admit there’s a bit of a resemblance.

I think Yoda and Jabba look in any case more realistic in the OT than in the PT. If what you say is true, I guess I have to be glad I was born in the early 90s 😄
