The audio mix of STAR WARS as it aired on HBO in 1983 wasn't the mono mix. It was a 35MM stereo mix minus 3PO's "tractor beam" line. It was also transferred from the time-compressed LaserDisc (compressed from 121 min. to 118 min.)
