Low quality post.

It’s a genuine request. I don’t know what an Acklay is and I don’t care enough to find out.

It’s the green six limbed monster in the Geonosis arena.

I wouldn’t say it’s mean. No more or less than “Low quality post”

Depends on who it is. Sentients like Darth Bane, Grand Admiral Thrawn or Exar Kun should be instantly identifiable names to any fan of Star Wars. Not knowing someone like Kas’im or Darth Talon is a completely different though.

I’ve never heard of any of those characters. I recognize Thrawn as the name of a book. The only Star Wars book I’ve ever read was the original “From the Adventures of Luke Skywalker” book.

I understand your point though that I’m more ignorant than most people on here when it comes to non-film related Star Wars media.

Other than Thrawn, don’t know or care who those are.

Well perhaps you should expand your horizon. Star Wars is so much bigger than the films.

I expand my horizons through study and travel, not Star Wars books. Not that I do those often either, I just think “expanding horizons” is too grand of a term for Star Wars books

Well you should because even though they ruined the character Darth Bane is canon and he’s the reason the Sith were only two. And even if you don’t care I’m not going to go the extra mile because of people’s unwillingness to see beyond the films.

We’re talking about Star Wars; not the other activities that fill your days. You don’t even have to read the novels/comics because there are videos on the internet covering these characters.

Lol, I could not care less about official canon.

Ok then stay away from any conversations that are about these stories and characters. Simple.

Bultar Swan is still equally as fictional as Darth Bane

I don’t remember this Jedi completely changing the order but if that’s how you feel.

You’re the one who brought it up and claimed we aren’t true SW fans, whatever the hell that means.

Last I checked, this thread is still about the films. Not video games, not books, not cereal boxes.

Also like I said there is more to Star Wars than the films. Star Wars is a pretty general term now that is applicable to multiple mediums.

With canon being what it is it’s hard to not mention certain aspects of the EU or nuEU.
