I’m rendering ROTJ v2.5 right now - ETA 10hrs. But I made so many changes since the last workprint and the project file got so big and complicated that I’m sure when I watch it, I will find that I forgot to turn some layer on or off or something stupid like that and will probably have to re-render but I have everything else ready, so currently, the intended release date is this Sunday.
Awesome! Thanks for all the hard work. Will it only be uploaded on MySpleen or will it be available through utoz again?

Generally, Harmy releases his stuff to utoz, then someone else uploads to MySpleen with Harmy’s blessing.

So are these still only going up on Myspleen? I managed to find the older despecialized editions on another site but I am doubtful I’ll have the same luck with rotj 2.5. Since Myspleen seems to not be doing invites anymore, anyone have any advice for someone who wants to get this but doesn’t already have an account? Seems like the game has changed and it’s a lot harder for new people now 😦
EDIT: lol just saw those posts. Guess I should look into utoz, unless it’s just as hard to get into?

utoz can be used with the program Jdownloader, or something similar.

It’s a file locker site like mega. The links generally get posted on a forum called tehparadox, as the links are not allowed here.

Does myspleen still even allow invites to be given out anymore? I’ve actually never given one to anybody and I have no idea how to do it anyway.

There’s a section at the top right that says invites. You max out at 10, but they refill after a few weeks, one at a time. I sent a ton out when TN1 released SSE. All but one user turned out to be a hit and runner. Of course.

When people request an invite, I go to their profile to see when their account was created and how much they’ve posted.
If they created the account that day and all they’ve posted is that one post asking for an invite, nope, sorry.
The way I see it, the people who deserve invites are the ones who have stuck around here and contributed to some degree to the conversations.

I do it based on how polite they are. I only posted like once before I got an invite and I’ve stuck around.

yeah it’s tough cause i mean, sometimes there’s not a lot you can contribute to the discussions of these things without having access to them. so i’ve basically just lurked since last year

I find it’s generally a great idea to lurk on forums for a while before posting. You end up having many of the would-be stupid questions answered already.

I came for the the spleen, and stayed for the star wars. I went on a seeding bender one weekend on there and downloaded over 1TB of shit and seeded almost all of it back. I can’t remember who sent me an invite but I’m so thankful they did. Now I lurk this place everyday and I’ve made some posts and even thread topics. This forum fucking rules.

I have been here for a while now, but am generally too shy to say much. I don’t have a spleen account yet, but i will eventually get one I am sure. I have never asked before, because it is looked down on, but i will ask now. I also am not really into torrenting, so i would worry about being a hit and run, since i would only get various star wars projects anyway. I would seed them back of course, but as far as contributing to the other parts of the community? probably not much.
^ i am attempting brutal honesty as a tactic. I probably wouldn’t be that good a my spleen member, (except on star wars stuff) but if someone wants to be nice anyway, i am leaving this here.

I’m in the same boat. Everything I have so far was from tehparadox. Will ROTJ 2.5 be available there or will I need an invite to Myspleen?
