So the story isn’t quite as stupid as the previous film but the main side villain should have been Dooku. Grievous serves no point beyond adding another toy to the range.
Selling the war as a Jedi plot makes more sense if you keep your main Jedi plotter alive for most of the film.
If Steve Grievous had to exist not making him Maul (or Jar-Jar) seems petty at this stage.
Lucas is just getting his design team to create something that looks cool for kids but doesn’t actually do anything as a character.
Padme does very little in this film. Her dying of a broken heart schtick was very lazy and contradicts the OT.
It’s the PT so the usual observations of people speaking the strange space language of expositionese still hold.
Iain has been the only thing worth watching the PT up until now and then they go and scribble over his face and tell him to do a really bad impersonation of the Emperor from ROTJ
Threepio does very little in this film. Wiping his memory at this point seems pointless and hardly something Artoo (his friend) would laugh about.
Why are all the Jedi killed by Clones and not Vader?
Since 1977 I’ve wanted to see Darth Vader in a cyborg suit fight and kill Jedi with his red lightsaber. Not some pouty kid in a bath robe with lizard eyes (for reasons) kill a handful of people mostly off screen before entering into a glow stick party with Ewan McGregor.
Why does Coruscant still look shining and pretty. Surely with all those capital ships falling out the atmosphere now would be a good time to see the capital at least partially damaged?
Vader should look less advanced than he does in ANH not more and he should have been played by a big man in the cyborg suit not Hayden in high heels FFS and the final indignity of the NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
