The title is offically the long version, with “Episode VII” in it (this is the actual title used in the movie).
It is as offical as Star Wars is Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. It is registered as Star Wars: The Force Awakens at least in our national film registry purely as that. I’ve yet to see a film that doesn’t have its official name spelled at right at its official poster. Feel free to compare TFA to PT posters.
