It’s not about their account, it’s about posting in their own project thread. Apparently this risks sock puppeting. I find it very offensive that these nobodies have the audacity to claim that Team_Negative1 will abuse this site. Considering their work, I think they’ve proved themselves tenfold. Team_Negative1 has never posted anything offensive or off the topic of Star Wars, it’s just people who are anal over a stupid rule. Apparently restoring Star Wars and Empire from original 35MM prints doesn’t give the Team any credibility
You seem to know a lot for someone who’s only been on the site a week. We used to have a problem with sock puppet accounts around here. They were abused to the point we had to get rid of all of them, even the obvious joke ones because nobody is an exception to the rules. I would personally love to have one just for laughs, but even mods have to follow the rules.
We’ve given TN1 an extraordinary amount of slack, and they keep testing the limits of what they can get away with. Who I and the other mods are dealing with is never even clear from one week to the next. It seems like the team member who agreed to play by the rules last year isn’t who’s posting now.
